HELP LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT-ATHLETES

At The Honest Game Foundation, our mission is to level the playing field so that every student has a fair and equitable opportunity to attend college.

With the cost of college growing at a rate of 8x the average wage and the ballooning student loan debt, the dream of college is slipping away for many of our youth. By leveraging their academic and athletic skills, college-bound students can access scholarships to help pay for their degree.

Collegiate athletic scholarships are at risk because NCAA and NAIA academic eligibility requirements are complex and adherence to their compliance rests solely on high school staff. In fact, 1 million student-athletes every year are not on track with academic requirements to accept an athletic scholarship. In under-resourced communities, almost 1 in 2 students are academically ineligible to gain access to college via athletics.

This is where Honest Game comes in. Our education technology helps educators, coaches, and parents track student progress in real-time making sure they are on track to meet their athletic and college goals.

Fund a High School, Course Validation – $1,000
Fund NCAA registration support for a high school to ensure that the high school curriculum is aligned with the school’s NCAA Eligibility Center Portal. Thousands of high schools across the country lack any NCAA approved courses. Completing a school’s NCAA registration process requires a great deal of administrative time—at least 40 hours for the initial application. And, assisting students who apply for eligibility requires substantial counselor time. By making this gift, you’re ensuring a high school can reliably avoid the risk of academic ineligibility for all their students.

Fund a High School, Course Validation and Individualized Student Tracking – $4,000
Fund NCAA registration support for a high school to ensure that the high school curriculum is aligned with the school’s NCAA Eligibility Center Portal. In addition, this gift will provide individualized academic tracking for all students, providing step-by-step navigation for meeting and maintaining NCAA and NAIA academic eligibility and college admissions requirements to support post-secondary opportunities and success.
